"Willow" is a great boat for racing or cruising.
Available with Willow is a great slip at Spruce Harbour Marina(near Granville Island). This slip can be transferred for recreational use. (not live aboard). Included is one parking spot which can be used when you are out sailing.
Willow sleeps 5 with a V-berth, two settee berths, and a 6'quarterberth. She has 6' of standing room which is great for a boat of this size. There is a head with hand shower. The galley includes new wooden drawers, stainless sink, a new de-alcoholized two burner stove(safer than propane), an icebox, and when hooked to electricity, a hot water heater. There is also a Force 10 BBQ with a new cover. There is also a Dickinson propane cabin heater.
Willow has an Atomic 4 engine that was replaced in 1984. It has been fresh-water cooled and has given no problems, very reliable. The engine pushes the boat at about 7 knots with the fixed prop and 6 with the Martec folding racing prop. The batteries are brand new.
Willow comes with large 2 speed winches, a spinlock tiller extension, mainsails a 150% Dacron genoa, 140% Kevlar genoa, a Dacron 80% genoa, and an asymmetrical spinnaker.
Willow has a new propane locker, fairly new rigging done by the previous owner- all colour coded, a new compass, and depth sounder/fish sounder. She has a new bilge pump, and has been well maintained. She is pulled out of moorage every second summer, and has her hull re painted with anti foul paint. We have also had her name redone and the boat line repainted. We have installed a solar powered vent on the hatch and relined the hatch closing.
She is upright and watertight, and just a great sail!
