Vintage Hardy Boys books many first editions, all with dustjackets, from 1930s to 1950s. Some chipping on edges, typical for books this age. One dustjacket has 2-inch piece out of spine. Tan covers; orange frontispieces. Book bindings tight and strong. No mould. Carefully kept by one owner. Same previous owner's name throughout, with dates from 1927 to 1948. One only from the 50s.

Titles include the the very first Hardy Boy title ever, The Tower Treasure (1927) Also many great thirties and forties titles: The House on the Cliff, The Secret of the Caves, The Shore Road Mystery, The Hidden Harbor Mystery, The Secret Warning, Footprints under the Window, The Great Airport Mystery, The Mystery of the Flying Express, What Happened at Midnight, The Missing Chums, While the Clock ticked, The Mark on the Door, Hunting for Hidden Gold, The Disappearing Floor, The Twisted Claw, The Shortwave Mystery, The Sinister Signpost. The fifties editions include The Secret Panel, The Phantom Freighter, The Hooded Hawk Mystery, The Secret of Skull Mountain.

22 titles in all. From a nonsmoking home. No previous owners' names. They are all tightly-bound and clean. Non-smoking home.Selling as a lot only. Take home some Canadian history. Franklin W Dixon's real name was MacPherson, and he was from Grimsby, Ontario. If you know the Grimsby area, you will understand the topography of "Bay City" in the Hardy books.
