This is a reproduction of the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman. The original is on permanent display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. This classic reproduction was introduced in 1956 and has become widely recognized as a symbol of luxurious comfort, support and exclusivity -- it has become one of the significant furniture designs of the 20th century. The cushions are upholstered in soft black Italian leather and the shell is constructed of dark-walnut veneered molded plywood. Each set includes chair and matching ottoman.
