Upton upright bass, 3/4 size, blues, rockabilly, jazz etc - $2500 in Whistler, British Columbia for sale

UPTON Deluxe Upright Bass, Made in Connecticut, USA. 3/4 size (standard size for rockabilly, blues, jazz,folk,etc). This is a professional quality bass, currently set-up for rockabilly (gut strings), and was set-up by Jack Hanlon, of the american band THE AMAZING CROWNS. It can easily be played in other genres of music. I even have spare steel strings for it. You will be amazed at the playability and quality of this instrument. Everybody who tries this bass loves it; I've had some top bassists try it out and they were quite impressed. It is a laminated plywood bass and it's far superior to any Chinese bass and most European ones. There has been some minor repair work done by a professional upright bass luthier. I cannot play anymore due to permanent injury. The bass features:

CLEF Gut strings.

Maple & spruce top veneer, inlaid purfling.
Ebony fingerboard, Nut, Saddle, tailpiece.

Includes deluxe Upton padded gig bag, bass stand, steel strings, and bow. I have a pickup/preamp system for it which I want extra for.(see below) I bought this bass new directly from the factory in 2008. They set it up for me personally. It cost me approx. $3600 including duties and shipping. A friend bought the same bass a year later and it was over $4000. Now they're $5000 or more.
