Based in Vancouver, Switchblade Surfboards has been making boards since 2009.
We strive to be Vancouver's one stop, full custom surf shop.
Aside from making custom boards we sell Patagonia and RipCurl wetsuits, fins, bags, leashes, track pads, wax, Switchblade apparel and more.

Each board is made entirely by hand. We work with a variety of different materials, including PU and EPS foam cores, Polyester and Epoxy resins, FCS and Futures fin systems. We also specialize in variety of custom artwork as well. Full body paint jobs, pin-striping, airbrush detailing, fabric inlay, resin tinting, wood veneers, classic and retro styles, photo laminates, custom logos... what ever you have in mind! Just ask.

We work closely with you to make sure we get your board just right, it doesn't matter how much you know or not going into what you need, we help fill in the blanks! Generally your new board turnaround time is 4 weeks from paying a deposit. In most cases our boards are priced cheaper than store bought ones made overseas, and aside from being made local and custom, they're stronger and lighter too!
