Up for sale is my Capita Sierrascope. It is a special collaboration made by Sierra Snowboards (now Trusnow) and Capita. Only a few thousand were made and they sold QUICK. It is basically an Indoor Survival FK with some changes. It has Capita's flat kick technology which I really like, and can handle anything on the mountain.
Full explanation of the tech here: http://youtu.be/lrzlaiOLDD4
It was used one Ontario season (around 10-15 days) so it's barely used. It hasn't seen any park riding, rocks, etc. I like this board a lot, only selling because I have 2 boards and never get to ride it.
The base is in excellent condition. The top sheet has a few chips from getting hit in the lift lines, but it's all cosmetic, nothing deep. I will remove the stickers if you wish.
I'm looking to get $250 for the board only. Would sell with L/XL Union Contact Pro bindings for $375 obo. May consider trades for other boards 155-158cm (would really like a Skate Banana)
Just read all the amazing reviews: http://www.trusnow.com/Capita-Sierrascope-FK-Snowboards.asp
Sierra and Capita Says: After a HUGE debut last season, the Capita Horrorscope became an instant favorite in the park scene. For 2010, we decided to colab with our friends at Capita once again to create a Sierra-exclusive version. The new Sierrascope is a completely overhauled and upgraded Horrorscope to Sierra's specs with increased control, durability and steez. The Sierrascope will have a similar shape as the Horroscope FK but we added carbon stringers in an X between the insert packs to provide better edge to edge responsiveness while allowing the tip and tail to be butter friendly. Combine that with a Reforestation Certified Sustainable Core and we have a legitimate commitment to responsible manufacturing. The Sierrascope is also upgraded with an ultra fast super durable sintered die cut base, and bi-ax glass to keep the flex on the friendly tip. The topsheet graphics are the reverse color of the Horrorscope FK and will only be found here. The Sierrascope is a unique product that only a few will own geared towards the progressive park shred.
